I don't know. As far as it's profitable, I would imagine. The economy and the way it is structured now is really about extracting the most productivity out of human beings for the least amount of money. I imagine they're consolidating to make it more efficient and probable that they can cripple the middle class into servitude under the guise of "we all have to sacrifice to get the economy back on track," you know?

Although when I think from a more spiritually holistic perspective, I wonder if they have just realized this will be their final "meal," so they're just going to eat their fill until the world is laid to waste and then peace out to some private estate until the end.

The way we completely screwed up our own evolution by allowing the media/government/corporations manipulate us, sadly seems to me like there's no coming back from this unless the while thing is burned down first.

Frankly, if we ever want sanity again, we have to stop using mouthpieces to form our opinions. This is going to require a SEVERE diet from all forms of media - be they mainstream, fringe, right wing, all of it.

We need to see the life that we ARE TRULY IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH every day and stop feeding ourselves on the junk food of the internet.
