They stopped trying to hide it years ago. America has accepted and embraced a multi-season series making light of the evil one.

You can tell that the folk who complain about it didn't watch it, because it's pretty much a pro-Christian show lol

I didn't watch it, admittedly. The reason was on principle alone.

Yes? A show about the redemption of the most fallen? What's wrong with that? It's a fun twist on the usual crime solving show, anyway. Whiles I don't believe in any of that children's story nonsense that is the creation story, they did pretty good incorporating various bits of it throughout the seasons, and also made a version of hell that makes sense from a more worldly philosophical standpoint.

So to sum: It's not a show about "the evil one", it's a show about a "dude" who's been forced to do a job he didn't like for all of eternity and took a "vacation" in LA, whiles hating being blamed for evil stuff (which is the responsibility of the humans doing it, no one else) - his job is to punish evil, not to cause evil, in this show.

So, not so much devil worship, as the show gets rather preachy about Christianity as it goes along, in a positive way. After all, the other main actor, Lucy's brother, is Amenadel, the Right Hand of God angel, you know? So.

I get your point, from an artistic standpoint. As a Christian, it's not a matter I feel should be trivialized into comedy.

You should see the comments of this YouTube video about the TV show, Lucifer.

[link to www.youtube.com (secure)]

Lots of people have not only accepted that Lucifer exists one way or another, but he is in fact a victim of God's Judgement. Lucifer deserves and needs your love, admiration, and unquestioning devotion to him and him alone.

That should be a huge red flag just where we are in time itself here on Earth.
Conspiracy Theorist is nothing more than a derogatory title used to dismiss a critical thinker.

You didn't realize it. You found it Unbelievable. What you just wrote has nothing to do with that post.

What's unbelievable is that so many still fervently believe in stories written, edited, translated, declared divinely inspired; by men centuries ago.

It's a cool show but it was a 20+ episode show that just got cut to 10 last season and 8 now. Plus they introduced God at the end of this season so things got weird. And God is a black male. Hmm

The show is not all bad.

There was a truth told near the beginning of the first episode of season one:

Lucifer explained to a young megastar singer who has been shot and dying at the entrance of an upscale night club that he did not come to her, rather she came to him desperately wanting something ... she wanted fame, money, and the glamorous life of a diva singer even though she lacks the talent and abilities.

The young singer is confused and can't understand why her good fortune is coming to an end so soon. She thought what Lucifer gave her would last for many years.

Soon thereafter the young singer dies and became the property of Lucifer.

It is chilling to watch Lucifer many times would look straight into a person's eyes and ask "What do you really want?". Often the replies are from a heart of hate, envy, and greed. Never from a heart of love.

So is Lucifer bad? Both God and Lucifer are equally powerful to give us what we really want. We have free choice to choose between light and dark.

Don't blame Lucifer for our poor choices. We are the instigator and Lucifer is just the facilitator. Learn from the consequences of our immature poor decisions and make improvements to better ourselves, and do our best not to repeat them. Forgive ourselves for not knowing any better at that particular time and move on, never to dwell in regret.

As we gain greater wisdom and maturity and begin to make choices that align with love that is God, Lucifer would progressively recede to the background with lesser and lesser influence.

All the best!

I watched the series from day one, it was very entertaining, just a well written show with good actors.
You can enjoy the show without it damning your soul or making you evil unless your spirit and faith are weak.

When the thumpers got it removed from Fox, I lost the ability to watch it since I can't afford any subscriptions on my budget. (Thanks thumpers)

When I opened up YouTube this morning to look for Hurricane Laura news, the first thing I saw was a Netflix ad saying "You want more Lucifer in your life?" Like it was a threat, showed the main Lucifer character with blazing red eyes, very malevolent. It went on to list more shows about the devil they had.

So.

I fear that they may place too implicit a confidence in their public servants, and fail properly to scrutinize their conduct; that in this way they may be made the dupes of designing men, and become the instruments of their own undoing. Revelation 22:16
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches (Ecclesia, means to call out and gather out of the world, the word church is a corruption). I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Like Lucifer the show, Lucifer has been redeemed and renewed by the 'Father' his way was made straight.

John 1:23
He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias

For previously Lucifer was crooked.

Luke 15:18-19 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
I am, what I am.

Re: The number one show on Netflix is Lucifer
They stopped trying to hide it years ago. America has accepted and embraced a multi-season series making light of the evil one.

No one blinks an eye. America will be judged.

Wake up!

Are you insinuating the Lord Jesus Christ is Lucifer? If so you are sorely mistaken.

Jesus is uncreated.

Lucifer was the anointed cherub that covereth. A created being. At one point the highest in Heaven, the Bright Morning Star.

Once Jesus took back the keys of Death and Hades from Lucifer (now Satan), Jesus earned the Bright and Morning Star.

Lucifer was given the Morning Star in the beginning. Jesus earned it.

Lucifer is not saved. Look around you. Do you see the powers of evil present? Rape, murder, idolatry, adultery, fornication, drug use, taking the Lord's Holy Name in vain? There you have it, Satan is still at work.

Lucifer is the author of death, disease, and all destruction. He was a murderer in the beginning and will continue to do evil because there is NO LIGHT IN DARKNESS.

That is how wicked and insane Lucifer is. He will do anything possible to destroy God's work, as if to make God a liar.

Do not be deceived, there is nothing good inside the devil. He is pure wickedness and evil.
