Australian cigarette smokers were hit with a 12.5 percent tax increase on Tuesday, the second tobacco excise tax hike Canberra has leveled against consumers this year. A package of 20 cigarettes now costs AU$35 (US$25) and brand-name smokes are even more dear, at upwards of AU$40 per pack. [link to www.rt.com (secure)] Quit! Why pay that? Goes to show you how desperate they (Governments) are. Usually most politicians are load to the tits with tobacco companys in their portfolios |

Nicotine has been shown to be effective against covid, so smokers generally don't get it. Need to make them quit so they join the "sick". The more I look into it, the more I find the endless benefits of tobacco. We have been lied to for more than a century. 80% of vaccines have nicotine derivatives in them (possibly 100%). Isn't that funny? Why? Is there something good about it? Isn't it also funny that the first "virus" ever "identified" was the Tobacco Mosaic Virus in 1892... ... by a pesticide company company no less. Their pesticide was being blamed for a new disease in tobacco. They "discovered" that it wasn't bacterial... it was a NEW external attacker called a virusm which is too small to even be seen! Tada!!! Ever since... we have had the push for vaccines and the war on tobacco. Nicotine should be as common as vitamins. |

The problem with this is that when many users quit, they will need a new revenue stream. What will it be? I can guarantee it will be something common and also considered bad for you. The direct penalties aren't too bad, but the few cases from the past are followed with tax evasion and then legal action from the tobacco companies for compromising their license based revenue. The Australian gov is anti freedom. |

Theoretically, the minorities (whatever they are) are protected. Doesn't work so well in practice, but it's something to think about. |

It cost me 86.00 bucks for 7 cartons. I believe in science NOT religion. Giving me bad karma for that, is anti-religious (you're passing judgement) I am just a man. Of no significance. Who found religion to be full of lies, and wrong doing, conflicted teachings I understand microwave communications. I do not stand for the NWO, it sucks. |

Why is a 23 year old white coat supposedly more knowledgeable about what drugs I should put in my body? I've been listening to my body for decades, and no-one knows it better than me. |

I believe children should have nicotine like vitamins. Readily available. The smoking bit has negative effects, but there are other delivery methods. Nicotine increases brain function, it's why you find industries that involve lots of high-level thinking have a large amount of smokers. Nicotine increase cognition with (not studied almost anywhere at all) no negative side effects that have ever been identified. I suspect children that have regular nicotine (in moderation, not dangerous doses), like vitamins, increase their brains' capacity to make connections. In early age brain development this leads to "smarter" more flexible and resilient brains. It is not a negative to feed to brain what in needs to be more effective. We should be using many nutrients, drugs and substances all n balance and moderation, to better the odds of the human condition. As an aside... with all the chemicals in chocolate, we should ALL be complete dribbling chocolate addicts! Why aren't we damagingly addicted to chocolate? Because it is a balanced substance, with many benefits. |
