Re: I'm A Baker In South Of France, Ask Me Anything
Please give me a recipe in Imperial units and Fahrenheit for simple bread (flour, salt, water, yeast and whatever else in the simplest bread).

Impossible to get good bread where I live.

Thanks in advance. I will be in your debt.

Impérial units, what is it? I am willing to help you.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79336004

Cups and teaspoons and tablespoons.

You can use litres and kilometres and Celsius and hogsheads if you must.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32283570

500 grams of T65 flour (t65 is a flour for Bakers)
300 grams of water
20 grams of dry Yeast
10 grams of salt (be careful with the salt dosage)
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79336004

FALSE!

Here in Merovingia we only use fresh yeast blocks!

What worry me the most is a war right now, because our neighbor is in the foreign légion (légion étrangère) And we have not seen him for a long time and he said to my nephew that they train to fight against large units, who have large units? Russia and China
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79336004

Ironically, "unit" can also refer to phallus!
 Quoting: SoulWinner

Eh I didn't know, as you see my English is not at some expert level! tounge
 Quoting: FranceBakerCorsica

It's not a common double-meaning, so no worries.
 Quoting: SoulWinner

You know there is something in English too!
When you say OH MY GOD, in French a God it's a sextoy for women tounge

It is not my domain hmm but I select good potatoes, grown with no pesticides or herbicides, I cut them in parts, I wash them with water, I dry them in a towel then I plunge them in hot oil and wait until they have some golden color, then I put some salt, I give Mayonnaise from Dijon to my kids and everybody is happy you know!

It depends à lot on the oven, and if you do this for the first time or occasionally, it is not very simple yes, bread is a lot easier

You're from the mountains. I started in Ajaccio and traveled all over the island. Such beautiful diversity of terrain there. The air was so clean and fresh, and the food so delicious. And the people were kind and happy. I didn't want to leave. In fact, I cancelled the rest of my trip which included Italy to stay longer.
