Ahhh there you are!

Any tips on making bread?

I can't make it worth a damn!

It usually turns out hard enough to kill three people or go through a wall.

I believe this French crop circle is indicating this very spot is in the cross hairs to get a comet strike to help cool down the asteroid impacts in this particular quadrant containing four nuclear reactors.

Re: I'm A Baker In South Of France, Ask Me Anything
Don't put the bread too close from the source of heat in your oven, it's what makes it hard in the end. I use a traditional oven in my bakery with wood etc so it's totally different from the ovens you and I myself have at home. But don't put the bread too close from the source of heat, so it can cook slowly, it is important.

Ah, well you are right, gas ovens are a lot better in many ways. Electricity in my opinion it's not good for cooking, in France that's why we hate microwave food (except those who work in offices because they are in a hurry for lunch)

Please give me a recipe in Imperial units and Fahrenheit for simple bread (flour, salt, water, yeast and whatever else in the simplest bread).

Impossible to get good bread where I live.

Thanks in advance. I will be in your debt.

Where/How can I get good Pain au lait in the US? What about some delicious chocolate croissants? Oh, how I miss real fresh baguettes!

Southern France is so beautiful! I make wine from my wild Southern US grape vines I have in my back yard. Scuppernong grapes are the closest I can describe the particular variety I have. I make my wine using cote du Rhone yeast. Everyone loves it and it doesn't taste like anything out there on the market. So thanks, France for your yeast and the Statue of Liberty!

Mix those ingredients during 10 minutes until you obtain a past, not sticky be careful, and then you let it rest 15 minutes.

You pick up the past you separate it in 3 loafs
With your hand you make 3 round balls
You take this 3 balls you put them under a DRY towel you let them 10 minutes like this

You heat up your oven at 240 degrée Celsius
You put a little olive oil on the plate, so the bread doesn't stick to the plate when it cooks

You take a cooking brush you put some water on it and you pass it on the loads

You put it 20-25 minutes in the oven

Merci Alexandre !
