Uber is teaching us that we don’t need the freedom to drive whenever and however we choose. Then it’s just a short hop to only AI controlled travel all the time. No unautomated travel will be allowed. Taking the car out for a spin will be reserved for the chosen people, the zio-Masonic-uber illuminated-elitist class. How nice; but what happens to the auto insurance companies and Jiffy Lube when the man/beast is making all the decisions and maintaining the all electric vehicle fleet? A Vette or a 57-Chevy will be a distant memory.
