Virus-Sized Transistors
Hyman professor of chemistry Charles Lieber has created a transistor so small it can be used to penetrate cell membranes and probe their interiors, without disrupting function. The transistor (yellow) sits near the bend in a hairpin-shaped, lipid-coated silicon nanowire. Its scale is similar to that of intra-cellular structures such as organelles (pink and blue orbs) and actin filaments (pink strand).

There were detailed videos of the Sandy Hook shooter Adam Lanza's home made by law enforcement that were scrubbed shortly afterward. The videos gave the impression that nobody lived in the house and everything looked staged.
 Quoting: dannyoh

I remember the photos; it's like the house hadn't been decorated since the 80s.

Otto Skorzeny, Hitler's bodyguard, claiming that George Bush Sr (and his father, Prescott Bush) were German spies, whose real name was Scherf, if I remember correctly.

One of the guys who had access to Tesla's materials, files and inventions BEFORE EVEN John Trump did, was Tesla's 'accountant', by the name of Scherf!

This explains pretty well how GHW Bush could have the CIA HQ named after him. A spy since he was a kid!

Also, the rumor was that the books 'Curious George' were about GHW Bush at this time of his life, young, curious, looking and touching everything, under the guise of 'simple child-like curiosity'.

I remember that website. The Photos of Bush Sr sitting next to Skorzeny were very convincing. wish I saved them.

Re: What's the weirdest thing you've seen scrubbed from the internet?
Late 1990's to early 2000's there was a webpage, Geocities, Fortunecity, something like that - one of those free Web 1.0 sites.

It was a bunch of photos and a story.

The story was written by some guy who was out doing some remote hiking. I can't remember where exactly but I want to say the Smokey Mountains. Anyways, the story was that this hiker found a busted up camera and took it home.

I also can't remember if it was a digital camera and the guy got the photos off the memory card or if he had film developed.

The photos were of some sort of very large vehicle, maybe something like 2-3 times larger than a train locomotive, up on a 50'-100' high rail trestle type bridge that rose above the forest canopy and then entered a tunnel on the side of a mountain.

The vehicle, it may have been on rails, was rusty brown and shaped kind of like handgun bullet.

It had a decal along towards the rear that read "ARK" in a bland type font.

I do CGI for a living and I remember thinking if the photos were faked using 3D or photomanipulation then they were really, really well done.

There were other photos, but it's been so long I can't remember.

I think I may have started a thread here years ago asking if anyone remembers this, but there are too many search results here with the word ARK in the title.

I vaguely remember hearing about this. I didn't actually see the page in question but reportedly the author of the page had a visit from the government.

 Quoting: Nerve03

For me, it would have to be the story on Stephen Bowen. Not so much disappeared as went into deep freeze:

"As we approach the end of October and Trump's decision to declassify the remaining sealed JFK Assassination records, I am reminded of what may be the coldest case on the internet. It involves a man named Stephen Bowen who was reported to have acquired video of a second gunman in Dealey Plaza from a local Houston television news producer. I remember Jerome Corsi reporting on it at the time. A few other news outlets picked up on the story, but then it went cold. What's interesting about this claim of footage of a second gunman, is that I remember a relative telling me a few years ago that she remembers seeing news reel footage of a second gunman that was broadcast on the major networks in the immediate aftermath of the assassination, but that she never remembers again seeing this particular footage after the first week of the assassination. I'm thinking this is the same footage that Bowen may have acquired."

From the The Newtown Bee on 12/14/2012, the very first Sandy Hook article linked to by all the major media worldwide with the famous picture of children being evacuated in which the Sandy Hook School Principal Dawn Hochsprung was interviewed by to the Bee and spoke of a masked man…

The next day the news reported the principal was killed in the shooting and that there was no mask…

The article was scrubbed by 12/17/2012.

Here is the text...

Shooting Reported Sandy Hook Elementary School

State and Newtown police, ambulance, and emergency response personnel responded to the Sandy Hook Elementary School shortly after 9:30 am, Friday, following reports of a shooting. One child was carried from the school by a police officer, apparently seriously wounded. Other injuries are reported, and emergency personnel have set up triage facilities. Three victims were transported to Danbury Hospital by ambulance.

The other children in the school exited school under state police protection.

Police are in the process of setting up a staging area for parents coming to the scene that is away from the school, possibly at Fairfield Hills, to alleviate the traffic congestion in the immediate area.

Sandy Hook School Principal Dawn Hochsprung told The Bee that a masked man entered the school with a rifle and started shooting multiple shows – more than she could count – that went "on and on."

All of Newtown's schools are in lockdown, and the private schools have in town have been notified of an alleged shooting being reported at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Superintendent of Schools Janet Robinson said the schools were placed on lockdown the morning of Friday, December 14, "until we hear what is going on there."

Dr Robinson said it is best if parents do not try to call the district at this time, and the school district will release a message once further information is known.

The situation is evolving.

I have hazy recollections of the following;

A conspiracy site whose name I forget, which had a banner saying, if you're looking at this page, black helicopters will be circling your home. This was around 2004/5.

A page about how people can be infected with Alzheimer’s.

Videos on YouTube of weird long haired creatures lying in a cage in a crowded room full of what sounded like Arabs or the language of some foreign nation.

A website about an elderly couple who had been harassed with energy weapons for finding out about UFOs.

Someone discovering classified information about a massive black submarine like craft underground.

Various sites about Denver Airport and its strange murals including the mural of the solider wearing breathing apparatus which apparently is no longer there. If it ever was?

Various sites about Project Blue Beam which seem to have disappeared completely . I think Serge Monast was definitely onto something.

A site about Marconi deaths... I remember the name of this page but am not going to reveal it. Very disturbing information, especially if you're in the UK.

Back in the day, when GLP was sort of relevant, the conspiracy about how the sun is now white and it used to be yellow got started.
I looked into it as I remember it being yellow, there was a proper scholarly article about how in the 70’s the sun changed colour, not permanently but for a while. It said that the sun briefly changed the way the gases or whatever reacts from helium to whatever. It’s gone now. Of course Astro who wasn’t even born when the sun was yellow says it isn’t.
