He is being tried on current charges. Why not proceed with the current charges and finish with that before bringing in new charges. They should be seperate and not added too this trial.

This all looks like another delay tactic.

Anything related to an entity which is publicly owned, ie taxes support government, should be owned by the public, not the government.

Assange is a nothingburger compared to Prince Andrew. The crown is just sliding Assange around in the mud hoping he gathers some attention.

I hope he gets to come to the US and tell his story and Trump protects him. Him and Edward Snowden. They have things to tell us that effect us greatly and their right to tell us should be protected.

Assange would likely get better treated in American jails than Britains.

Assange should be freed, with immunity form everything at this point. He was doing the job that the press is supposed to be doing and aren't.

Meh...that guy isn't a witness, he is just a "personal reference" as they say. He is basically giving his opinion on whether Assange is a reporter and protected by 1st Amendment. I also noticed he has a huge case of TDS, lol.

I think the DOJ is saying that since Assange "helped" the leaker by assisting him with the leak, providing instruction, he wasn't playing a journalists role, which would simply be the receipt of information, but a HACKERS role which would be the theft. Idk. I would like to see the evidence the DOJ has, which I'm sure will come out in court. That definitely puts a different spin on Assanges role.

Well you would be wrong. Hillary already had a reputation from her stint in the 90's in the WH. Plus, she was caught lying about her "private server" proving she wasn't fit for the office of President if even she didn't know how to handle classified info. And the main thing is NOBODY LIKES HER. She's as FAKE as they come when it comes to politicians. She had no new message. Nothing. She acts like a Queen and people can't stand haughty.

All irrelevant witnesses imo. As I've said, the DOJ case isn't about what he released it's about his role in obtaining the releases. They say he helped the leaker, making him an accomplice or hacker himself.

Imagine the shit show in the press and in this election cycle if Trump would tell the DOJ to drop the case against Assange that was STARTED IN THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION!

I do recall hearing many, many times over from the left and the Dems that as President you do not interfere with what the DOJ is doing. All bullshit from them of course because they always tell the DOJ what to do, but from a political standpoint, it would be suicide for sure.
