May not be that big a deal, actually.
KC/Texas was down compared to the previous year. The previous year was Chicago/Green Bay; that's a big market team + a national market team. KC is considered 'mid market' but that is probably generous.
They were also unusually competing with the NBA playoffs which was LA/Houston. Houston obviously has market overlap with the Texans. The NFL got way more viewers of course, but the NBA game probably cost them some viewers.
So really it looks like their numbers haven't been that effected.
