best pc for old dos games and up to unreal 2003

what is the best laptop/tower for this purpose.

the jack ass pos laptop i have now has hardware thats infinitely more powerful than i need yet i am forced to use linux or windows fuck me in the ass gates 10. love linux but not good for any games.

id like to set up an old school lan that will flawlessly play old school games such as: wolfenstein 3d, duke nukem 3d, doom 1 & 2 (3 is a pos), quake 1, space hulk, civilization 1 - 3. have no problem using the old tcp/ip and lan settings.

it would be great if it could also do quake 3. be great also if it could do quake 5 over lan only but i fear that would fk up the rest of it.

i figure this will help keep our chins up when this all just goes to hell.
