Quoting: Deplorableduckhunter Power has been off for a couple hours now. One tree has come down so far that I can see. Almost got my tenant's Tahoe. I misjudged expected wind direction and Nellie (my AS trailer) has been in harms all night from trees on my eastern side. Grateful for upgraded battery capacity. Turned on the inverter and my coffee maker. If my shit is going to get tore up, least I have a cup of good coffee. Stay safe ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78689367 For the second time in 7 days the Bermuda islands looks like they will get another category two hurricane on Sunday. That's horrible. Back to back storms. Right and Bermuda is but a speck of land in the Atlantic...what are the odds?? And I thought that Paulette's eye crossing the main island was pretty rare..?? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78191285 United States 09/16/2020 11:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Winds is still gusting to 65 miles an hour in Pensacola - 6 hours after landfall. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78689367 High tide was less than an hour ago..must be miserable there right now. Many areas of Pensacola are now legitimate disaster areas...my parent's home in Cordova Park included. A flash flood hit their neighborhood, creating a six-foot deep canyon-like ditch in their backyard, and wiping out the neighborhood behind their home. The shed is gone. The privacy fence is gone. In their place is a new canyon. |

There is also an old friend IKE who lives there under some dense oaks. News may be slow coming out of these communities more inland. Two-land roads with tall pines and overhanging oak trees could be blocking roads...and then there's the flooding. Lots of creeks and streams up there. |

Easy if you got a few hundred million extra. Sorry for your parents. |
