Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78090500 She just said Thursday before it gets about and it will be a high end cat2. That's a big jump Quoting: Bush Master No freakin way. The radar has this making landfall in 4-6 hours. It doesn't have time to strengthen that much. It's barely a hurricane right now. I was watching TWC all day until we lost cable about 4 hours ago, and I've been following Accuweather since then. TWC has been saying 20-30 inches all day. Accuweather projects more like 8, which is consistent with what I've been seeing. From the projected satellite, we're going to get the eyewall about midnight to 2am, and it doesn't look a whole lot worse than it is now, which is not that bad. Quoting: Revbo™ IN 2004 HURRICANE CHARLY WENT FROM TROP STORM TO CAT 4 IN 3 HOURS Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77555432 This is already moving inland. It doesn't have the juice to strengthen. As it nears land, and moves over land it loses power. But the longer it sits overland, the more the rain totals go up.
