Re: ya ever been in a fist fight?
Lol... every single person who grew up in the inner city has been in multiple fist fights with the exception of handicapped kids, and even that is questionable.

these people grew up in the JUNGLE learning how to fight, strategize, organize, communicate and USE GUNS AND OTHER WEAPONS.

Not too mention the inner city folk outnumber the rural folk by about 5 to 1 and a large percentage of them have ILLEGAL AUTOMATIC FIREARMS.

Are you white supremacists who never been in a fight in your life sure you want to keep pushing these brown, black, yellow and red people to the point of a civil war?

You do realize there is ZERO chance you can win right?

I would succumb to EQUAL RIGHTS AND JUSTICE FOR ALL if I were you... that is if you want to live and have a family who survives the civil war you started hundreds of years ago and continue right up until this day.

44 lily white male presidents going on 45 and only 1 president of color?

Not good enough. Shit better change quick before THE PEOPLE lose their patience for good and stop turning the other cheek.

Karma is a bitch to those who diss her...

I almost feel like I am missing out or something ... almost

never been in a fight. the closest I have ever come is some roughhousing on the way to the school bus in 5th grade. no punches, just deflection and a little play until the instigator became convinced it was pointless.

and damn, it wasn't through the lack of trying. I am one huge smartass ... maybe it was the insanity hidden in the eyes

There is almost too much utter BS in this post to address.

1 no one is oppressing these people. There are a few bad apples out there but there is NO systemic racism in the US. In fact it is one of the least racist places on earth.

2 you don’t have a good sample in this post. Many of us in rural areas know how to fight very well. We don’t make an issue of it because we are peaceful people unless provoked.

3. If it ever came to a civil war, and I truly hope it doesn’t, side with the conservatives or you will lose. To borrow the best quote I have heard in a long time, on side has a trillion rounds of ammunition and the other side doesn’t know which restroom to use.

4. Minorities aren’t the main ones rioting at present. It is mostly pantifa and other Soros groups.

5. Voting for Trump.

I've been in many...

Bullied in school resulted in me kicking many a bullies ass. My parents sent me to Karate from 7 years old, and I'm thankful they did.

Bar fights growing up - anything from chairs and glasses being thrown to stopping a bunch of youths stamping an opposite gang member to death...

I won some Karate tournaments as a child, as an adult I've had a couple amateur/semi-pro mma fights, but time and injuries catch up with ya!

Sometimes I think my involvement in taekwondo from an early age was the main reason I was never in a fight.

I had an awesome instructor that would embarrass me in front of the class, weekly. He would always poke and prod subtly ... the moment I would react he would stop what he was doing, looking and me and then said 'I have won'.

the moment someone causes you to react ... they have won ... simple ... and it has stayed with me and benefited me throughout my life ... maybe more than any other lesson learned.
 Quoting: Cloven

I agree, the best fight is the one you avoid. It takes far more strength to walk away, then to strike ... unless you are cornered and have no where to go.

That said, a few years ago, 5 MS-13 shits cornered me and 3 other Krav girls in a parking lot in Northern Virginia outside a pub.

The were already getting very confused, and concerned, expressions on their faces when we went back to back. About that time, Mr. LJS who had dallied while chatting up the bartender, came around the building, saw the fight about to go down, & reached in his jacket.

Their leader whistled and they scattered.

I am glad that fight did not happen. We ALL would have ended up in the ER. Those assholes usually carry knives. First rule of a knifefight is that you will get cut, only question is how badly. My intent was to crush the throat of the one coming at me, the other women likely would have done the same. We are taught to fight dirty in Krav.

My adventures in fighting began with a father who was an Army Ranger, then went on through Aikido, Taekwondo, Jiujitsu, Hapkido and Krav. All have their strengths, all have their weaknesses.
 Quoting: Lady Jayne Smith

I was mad over a female and I popped that sucker pretty hard. Needless to say the oak door won. I was drunk and didn’t really realize it was broken until the next morning. Gripping the steering wheel told me pretty quick. I was so crazy back then that I didn’t really care at all. I’m just glad it still works. I broke that last bone. Not the pinky finger but the bone it attaches too. Later I learned you should try to concentrate the force on the index and ring finger side of the hand.

Yeah, that is the weakest area of the hand, and also does not deliver as much force from the arms, shoulders, and core. Make certain there is no bend in the wrist as well.

I've been in enough fights to know that it doesn't ever end well, win or lose.

This world is shit and there is no hope for people who perpetuate violence with no real goals other than the self.

Fuck you OP, I'd kick your ass if I cared enough to even acknowledge your existence or life experience. (see what I did there? > probably not)

It's almost instinctive to make a fist but you can palm strike all day and a slap from a meaty hand can be almost as devastating as a punch and also can be sustained at will. You're done if you break your hand on someone's noggin.

Slaps and palm strikes for the head, punch the body. Elbow strike the joints.

Re: ya ever been in a fist fight?
My nick names in HS was Ms. Tyson... or slugger...lol
I went for years being bullied, and picked on... no support at home... and one day I was like HELL NO!!!!!! Then I couldn't stop for a while.

I broke a girl's braces once... the wire snapped, and punctured her cheek. It happened when her face was making a strange form... so when the wire went through it looked like she has a stroke and couldn't move the one side of her face... because it was "pinned"

The principle tried to make me feel guilty. I asked why would she pick a fight when she didn't know how to fight. Why would she push someone that far knowing she wasn't a fighter. She tried though... she really did. Her pantyhose made it impossible to not slide all the waaaaayyyyy across the floor when she went down... it was hilarious.

A throat chop can be seen a mile off, and it badly opens you up as well as hyper extends your arm. If he grabs your wrist or captures your arm you're in big trouble.

You have to view the opportunity and be in a position to move on it. A lot of fighting prowess is instinct and reflex. As Mike Tyson said, "Everyone's got a plan until they get punched in the mouth."

It's important to keep your eyes open, stay on your feet, and have your hands up to guard your head and neck.

Yeah I really like Mike tysons fighting stance. He has his hands up in front of his face. He can block or attack from that position. And when he hurts them he can let that guard down and throws hooks etc. he can even jab from that defensive position because he was so fast.

Slaps and palm strikes for the head, punch the body. Elbow strike the joints.

A good solid strike to the throat will take most men out. So do you think a chop to the throat is easier to land than a punch? I don’t know anything about jujitsu or striking joints. Wish I did though.

Not to mention he had a head like a cinder block. chuckle

Yeah he did. I don’t think he ever fought from a defensive position but he was still protected. So I need to correct what I said He was always the aggressor. Constantly going forward. You we’re gonna slug with him or quit. He protected himself well though.

That can be very psychologically unnerving when someone is constantly coming at you. It panics you, you have no time to take a set or compose yourself.

Re: ya ever been in a fist fight?
A few but the most memorable was rescuing a drunk ass friend getting his ass beat by bikers in a strip club. These guys were REAL bikers, not wannabe weekend types.
My friend was drunk and belligerent. He kept putting quarters up on a table they were running. To their credit, they kept taking his quarters and putting them on the bar next to his beer. They didn’t want to shoot pool with his drunk ass but he kept pushing it. Next thing I know, my girl is grabbing me by my shirt yelling, “ THEYRE KICKING HIS ASS!!!”
I had no choice. I jumped the guy beating his face in while a guy jumped on my back and was trying to fish hook my mouth apart. I clamped down hard and almost bit his finger off. I don’t remember it all but I do remember them chasing us down the street. We jumped in his truck with me driving away with one of the bikers strangling me through the window. Good times!
When we got to my place my friend threw his shit caked underwear in the street. Lol. True story!
it’s a dry heat...
