I've been trying to reason with people on Twitter. Whenever I see someone say "I'm not voting for a draft dodger" or "I'm voting for Biden because Trump is a draft dodger" I try to set the record straight. I've discovered that you cannot reason with those who did not use reason to form their opinions. For most of these people, they don't really mean they are voting for Biden because Trump is a draft dodger. They are voting for Biden because of irrational hatred of Trump and they have glommed onto the term "draft dodger" as a slur.

I imagine it will be the same, now that this video has surfaced. Obviously, there is no evidence whatsoever that Trump really said what they claim he said, but there is video evidence that Biden actually said similar things. It won't matter in the slightest. They will continue to say they are voting for Biden because Trump was disrespectful to the troops.

Hypocrisy means nothing to them. In fact, they probably like hypocrisy. A lot of people must, otherwise there would be fewer hypocrites in our world.
