I think people that burn the flag are idiots, and they know very little as to what that flag represents, but I don't think there should be a law against burning it either, as long as the flag is owned by the person doing the burning. If it remains legal to burn the flag, in my mind that proves the freedom the flag represents still exists. I think Trump is wrong on this one.

Freedom means that you have the right to say and do things that might offend others, and you should have the right to burn your own property if you want to. I would however, be okay with it being a criminal offense more serious than just petty theft or destruction of property to take and burn a flag that isn't yours to burn, because the flag to most people does represent more than just a piece of property.

The US used to have a Bill of
Rights.
