Russia won't help Armenia - They are on their own

Yes. Russia supports the ethnic cleansing of Armenians from Artsakh and Azeri Turk control over the region in dispute. They also want Armenia, itself, punished for its cozying up to the EU. They want the EU cooperation agreements scuttled again and will only step in to 'protect' Armenia once its on the brink of being overrun. Putin and Erdogan are quarterbacking the whole thing. It's up to the EU now.

Russia Is Already Involved.

Russia helps NOBODY that's even nominally Christian, except as a pretext to invade them.
They use SYRIA as a cat toy and allow them only enough to bleed them dry.
They turn off the air defenses to allow SYRIA southern neighbor free reign to bomb weapons and infrastructure.

They give plenty support to openly marxist, Islamist or other old test based belief systems to this day
