Well Quebec - time to reap what you sow. They screwed over the rest of the country by blocking oil. They take the equalization payments and don’t consider where it comes from and they support Trudeau. The rest of the country isn’t going to stand up for Quebec as for years they’ve acted like the bratty child of Canada. Hating on every other province. Always pointing the finger everywhere else. Who’s fault is it now?

Pretty odd. I mean Canada is dual language - by law - everywhere EXCEPT Quebec where they don't have to use english at all. Not on road signs not on food packaging nowhere.. But the rest of the country must use french as well as english.

As a Canadian I can speak from experience that the Canadian Francophones are a very flambouyant, proud people.
They will feel right to overindulge in expressing their personal opinions/reactions. If you are a stranger to them there is very little you will be able to tell them, especially if you cannot speak French.

A funny bit of history. The French Canadians call us English Canadians "Square Heads". Its not frowned on and I wouldnt care if someone said it to me. The term square heads comes from the Fur Trade days in the 17 hundreds. I escaped just in time, I left Montreal last week as I knew this was coming. Now in the Dominican Republic, which is covid free now. By covid free I don't mean free of the disease but free from the madness.

Nagging sore throat, digestive issues and constantly out of breath.

I got on the plane anyways, knowing I'd have a better situation here. Today I picked up Ivermectin at the local pharmacy, around 6$ usd for a 7 day course. No prescription needed, no questions asked, basically OTC. 6 hours later my symptoms are pretty much totally resolved now.

So yeah, Canada is fucked and Quebec even more royally so.
