India, Africa & the 'Rona

India is getting hammered with CV 19. They're losing around 1100 people a day to it, their new cases are almost double that of ours 81K to US 47K . It looks like their total cases will overtake us in the near future, we're at 7.4 million total cases & India is at 6.4 million.


Whats strange is Africa is not getting hit near as hard as South & Central America, India & like Europe was in March, btw Europe's cases are starting to climb again. There are many theories on why Africa's numbers seem low, granted their infrastructure & reporting is no where near good as the West, but even taking this into account, somethings going on?

Its not race, as American black folks are getting hit hard, smoking rates? Early on the French claimed that tobacco use shows a hindrance in the virus' multiplication & even planed to test nicotine patches on hospital workers and patients who tested positive for COVID-19. I cant find anything new on this?
