It's just a fad. Let them get it out of their system. Let them play with Barbies too so they get over that too. Let them cook and clean the house so they know what real life is all about. Let them wear make up, who cares. They will grow up and make choices based on who they are. No matter what we do or how much we make fun of them. |

Even cavalry riders wore skirts; with a cutout, to fit the barrel of the animal. Slacks and pants didn't arrive until the Middle Ages. Modern skirts are for ladies, because women liked the prestige of wearing a man's outfit; woman traditionally wore smocks. They also thought they just looked better in a man's skirt and top, because it called more attention to their feminine figure. We live in a world where the traditional garb of men, starting 450 years ago, came to be worn only by women, until recently. |
