I got to meet him.. I really liked him at the time . He came across both on tv and personally as REAL.

Good on ya. I remember reading a local newspaper when he was running for president. They had a picture of all the D/R candidates with a blurb below it on their positions. They didn't even include Ron Paul! Just plain left him out as if he didn't exist.

He did win Montana and Alaska which gave me a big smile.

Well he fucking lost because he was too nice.

So learn how to fight...

ron paul could actually be one of the only folks who ever worked on capitol hill to not have taken a bribe or voted against the constitution

rince priebus was repuke chairman,ron paul won by a landslide the repuke convention.priebus overruled the convention and picked romney,had the cops kick the paulies out.

I remember it well. He is the third party needed. This two party system had to go. I wish we had another Ron Paul on scene.

I remember on Super Tuesday primaries, they had a scroll on the bottom of the screen showing the results from each state. They stopped the list for each state right before his name was to come up.

If he came in fifth, they showed the top 4. If he came in third, they showed the top two. The did everything they could to avoid mentioning his name.

It taught me there are certain ideas that are forbidden from wider discussion in the US. The media is a propaganda tool to memory hole those ideas. And the people who benefit from suppressing these ideas are the real enemy of the people.

We watched the nomination stolen right away from him in our county's caucus. It's disgusting.

Trump got all those people back on the GOP train, which I think was the plan all along. I had hope at first myself. Has he done some good things? Sure, but overall I don't feel any of the clusterfuck that is DC really changed. If anything it seems like it got worse.

Sure he got some SCOTUS nominees, but are they really on the side of the people? Doesn't feel that way. ACB or whatever her name is is in favor of the states right to lock you down, close you business and force you to wear your mask and take your vaccine. Yet everyone here cheers her on.

There were no balanced budgets, there was no repeal of the affordable care act or the patriot act. He banned bump stocks which while not important themselves shows he doesn't really care about the meaning of "unalienable" and also it served no real purpose. The media didn't give him any credit. He's in favor of "red flag laws" which is outlandish. He signed a 6 TRILLION dollar bill - for what? To give bailouts to mega corporations that made billions in profits last year - all while they fire their employees and use the money for more stock buy backs - just like last time.

People say he's against pharma because of drug prices or something, but look at the boon he's handed them. They got money to for development, plus get to charge for the tests, drugs and vaccine for CV. And of course 0 liability for anything that goes wrong. Over 1,000,000 tests a day is worth a lot of money. No one went to jail, despite what looks like obvious and admitted crimes. He bought the "pandemic" hook, line, and sinker. Sure he had to worry about how the media would treat him if he didn't do anything, but look how they treated him anyway. And the economy still died.

Admittedly though I don't see a better option on the board - that's how crazy the democrats are.
