You get your information from CNN, MSNBC, Fox, NYT, & Bloomberg. How do you trust these sources? Why? Do you read the studies in PubMed, NIH? Do you see the controversies arising in the Lancet, NJEM, or JAMA?

Hell, SkyNews Australia is in complete revolt at the draconian orders of their overlords. How in the hell can you trust these troglodytes? People like Biden, Omar, AOC? Trite, infantile mouthbreathers.

I have a degree in Biochemistry. I understand the mechanics of disease and immunology and I still have to sift through the bullshit!

How can you trust some douche journalism major who writes for Wired?

Think for yourselves.

Re: I ask of the COVID Panickers: How do you understand something you have no base knowledge of?
I'm a huge proponent for thinking for yourself, but that includes the logic of thinking about how I (and 99% of the population) have less knowledge on immunology and diseases than someone who writes about it for a living, not to mention someone who practices it for a living.

I'm not going to be an idiot who just blindly reads something and believes it with no further backup, but I will gladly trust the hints when several studies agree; or, when an expert makes a recommendation I will sincerely consider it before adopting or writing it off - not just take a thoughtless reactionary stance one way or the other immediately.

I feel like somewhere in here humanity fell under the extremely destructive deception that something must be 100% perfect with no questions or further learning involved for it to be "the right thing to do or be."

That's just not how life works. We are going to get it right sometimes, we are going to get it wrong sometimes, but we need to mature into human adults who can contemplate and consider what the smartest way is to re-engender trust amongst us, even if what is discovered and recommended isn't perfect out of the gate.

Same way as people believe in Quran, Bible or any other religious books.
Sheep, lack of leadership or make a decision not to make any decision.
Inept and impotent, without a spark for knowledge and does not question authority, good slaves.
