I miss Chi Chi's Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78137372 I used to eat at a bunch of Mexican restaurants when I lived in Knoxville TN. Carne Asada!!! One place made a house salsa but it was really spicy. Usually the house salsa is mild. I was addicted to it. |

It was a sauce for chips, like salsa today, with the same flavor minus the disgusting chunks. Loved the stuff. I cannot eat the chunks in salsa, but I love the flavor. Too much work now to try and get a chip dunked without any chunks tagging along. Weird and petty, I know, but that is one of my hangups... |

What we like is called Restaurant style. Sometimes I'll buy a salsa and use one of these on it. Tastes much better then: Last Edited by Hot Dog Harry on 10/13/2020 03:18 PM |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 79378611 United States 10/13/2020 03:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A little off topic, but I went to buy my son a stereo sound system with big speakers for Christmas, because it was one of my favorite gifts I received when growing up. I was shocked to learn they don't make them anymore. The only thing they were selling were wifi-connected single speakers. No dials, no knobs, none of it. Just the Siri type speaker and thats it. I guess I get it, CDs, radio, and thus the sound systems that play them are dead. All hail wifi. Regardless, I opted to get him a record player instead............ |
