Quoting: Doctor Congo actually NO, it was pretty bad. and frozen TV dinners in the aluminum trays, I don't like plastic. Aluminum is bad enough. I was born in 1975... I'm not sure I remember the aluminum trays but I probably had some. Awesome! I grew up on Swanson and Banquet TV dinners in aluminum trays and no microwave oven, but I'm 20 years older than you, lol. Check out the price of 49 cents. I remember when McDonald's hamburgers were 59 cents and the cheeseburgers were 69 cents.... I think pizza was 75 cents a slice. |

They substituted high fructose corn syrup for real cane sugar. Does NOT taste the same. You can still buy the original Coke in Mexico, Europe, and Asia. Tastes like you remember. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73158164 Belladonna extract. It is the absolute best nasal decongestant ever. When over the counter medications like Contact had it in there, you would take two pills and your nose would be totally dried up within 30 minutes and STAY THAT WAY for 12 hours or more. It's been gone for over 40 years now. Yup, cyclamtes were great. . . |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78516564 Canada 10/13/2020 04:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Also their McLean Deluxe - that seaweeed burger was really tasty! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78516564 That was seaweed? Glad I stuck to the quarter pounders. When I worked there I would sometimes use the bagels for buns. They didn't sell that version. Yep, mainly seaweed - as the filler material. The healthy foods market was nascent then, today it'd be a viable competitor to BK's Impossible Whopper. Plus seaweed won't turn you into a soy boi... [link to mcdonalds.fandom.com (secure)] The burger had less fat because the patty was only 91% meat because of the added carrageans, which is a chemical derived from red seaweed. The burger had 10-16 grams fewer fat than the normal Big Mac. The burger was developed by food scientists at Auburn University. |

Snickers and Milk Way, both were far less sweet and had a deeper caramel flavor back in the day. |

These were the softest shirts I have ever worn and I bought dozens of them. Then, after a year or three, they switched the formula to include lycra or something similar. You can go to sites that sell this brand and find hundreds of thousands of comments from patrons upset that they changed and will not bring back the original. It is weird and I wonder why companies do this, and why they do not listen to the people that buy their products??? |

Kind of similar to Moutain Dew Voltage, to be honest. Which is probably why we'd never get Pepsi Blue back. |
