Who the fuck would go running in the woods in mountain lion territory?? Totally insane.

Aside from that, there are mountain lions in the northeast -- upstate NY, and New England. I have very good friends who are outdoors men and have hunted all their life... who have seen them. I think they've always been there -- I've read old newspapers online with sightings of them from the 1940's and 50's.

Also know a girl who lives on the Mass/NY line and once saw a gigantic black cat leap across the road in front of her in one bound. Interestingly enough, in those old articles - they mentioned huge black cat sightings.
