People are not as stupid as they think.

The coverage may have been strategic. Well, if the government shut down all non-essential international travel, then they wouldn't need to build quarantine camps to house international travellers who have nowhere else to complete their 14-day quarantine, now would they? One thing I have found missing from the government's Request for Information is how many people each of the facilities is supposed to house. The lack of information is rather telling. We could be looking at World War Two-style interment camps on a large scale. I have worked in Fort Mac and seen how fast camp buildings can go up. I am talking a week to house 1000 men. They are all prebuilt modules that can go up three stories if need be. Stacked up and side by side like legos. There’s ALREADY empty camps that each could house 500-2000 men right now sitting empty due to oil crash. We could lock up 5000 men in ‘quarantine camps’ by tomorrow if need be. And that’s just empty oil camps. A few months of building modular camps and we could do 100,000 men no biggie. Tons of pre built modular companies that could churn these out- like Boxx Modular, William Scotsman, ATCO, and even RTM companies like Grandeur. So the logistics to house people fast already exists. Just send purchase orders to these companies and instant camps. Potable water trucked in, sewage sucked out with vac trucks, giant portable generators. There’s already companies that can turn out thousands of sandwiches a day. All the bases covered. Just add barbed wire and a few belt fed .30 cals and it’s a beautiful isolation camp.
