The leak was accurate. Here in Czech we are in the fourth wave (which is referred to as the third wave).
Hard lockdown “Asian style” is expected. Poland following suit. France also. Many countries are just about to begin what is the fourth wave.
So during February the stagnation of numbers was the changeover from c19 to c21. Its goes exponential under c19 restriction measurements, so a strict lockdown is the only remedy.
The rest of the world is a few weeks behind czech. So take note. Within a month things are getting serious globally.
