The problem is more than just total numbers. The quality of the population is a huge factor.

Due to government policies and whatnot, those that should be having children generally do not, and those that should be sterilized are encouraged and supported to have as many kids as they want.

The world is being overrun with useless eaters that spread poverty, dysfunctional societies, and barbarism.
