InterReflections (2020)
Based on the book The New Human Rights Movement by Peter Joseph.
In a quest for a new, more humane society, a counter-culture revolution (hackers) takes the world by storm.
Taking place in three time frames, the through-line is connected by the story of Concordia, a hacktivist organization comprised of high-ranking military defectors from around the world.
They seek to stop further destabilization of the world in the mid 21st century by strategically shifting technological focus from “weaponry” to “livingry”.
The part that got me is when they talk about the cycle of being a consumer 15 minutes into the film.
One thing I highly believed is as soon as you're born into this world all you do is consume.
I am only 30 mins in but I had to pause and share this.
Time waits for no man.
SUPER film of information. I haven't heard of Peter Joseph but I shall look more into him after watching this...
and of course... Code.
May God protect us all.
