Teotihuacan was dedicated to Tlaloc, THE WATER GOD, at the same time Quetzalcoatl, as a snake, was a representation of the fertility of the earth, and it was subordinate to Tlaloc.

Quetzalcoatl is an Aztec sky and creator god. The name is a combination of quetzal, a brightly colored Mesoamerican bird, and coatl, meaning serpent. Quetzalcoatl is often referred to as The Feathered Serpent and was connected to the planet Venus.
The cult of the serpent in Mesoamerica is very old; there are representations of snakes with bird-like characteristics as old as the Olmec preclassic (1150-500 BC). The snake represents the earth and vegetation, but it was in Teotihuacan (around 150 BC) where the snake got the precious feathers of the quetzal, as seen in the Murals of the city. The most elaborate representations come from the old Quetzalcoatl Temple around 200 BC, which shows a rattlesnake with the long green feathers of the quetzal.

Legends about Quetzalcoatl from Mexico and Central America bring forward tantalizing resemblances to aspects of the life and New World ministry of Jesus Christ. In the past, some leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints occasionally drew attention to certain of those similarities.1 Among those mentioned in post-Spanish conquest manuscripts were that Quetzalcoatl was the Creator, that he was born of a virgin, that he was a god of the air and earth (in his manifestation as the Feathered Serpent), that he was white and bearded, that he came from heaven and was associated with the planet Venus, that he raised the dead, and that he promised to return. The full picture, however, is extremely complex.

In light of ancient sources and modern studies that have appeared in recent decades, some proposed links between Jesus Christ and Quetzalcoatl remain quite plausible while others are now questionable.

Serpent mounds have been found all over the world including Scotland. Mentioned below:

The tail tapered away, while a circular cairn, which he presumed to be the solar disk above the head of the "Egyptian uraeus", surmounted the head. The Ureaus, also known as Wadjyt, Wadjit, Uto, Uatchet and Edjo was a pre-dynastic 'cobra goddess' of Lower Egypt (approximately 4,000 BC) who took the title 'The Eye of Ra.'
Depicted as a 'rearing cobra,' a 'winged cobra,' a lion (symbol of bloody sacrifice) headed woman or a woman wearing a red crown. She is the protector of Pharaoh. Shown together with Nekhbet who was seen as a woman, a snake or a vulture – bringing to mind the bird-serpent image of Quetzalcoatl or Kukulcan from South America.
Wadjet is seen as the fiery Uraeus, anointing the head with flames, like the apostles in Acts 2 of the Bible. In the Pyramid Texts she is linked strongly with nature. The papyrus plant is said to emerge from her and she is connected to the forces of growth. She is also closely connected to Isis in the form of Wadjet-Isis in Dep. This Ureaus then is an indication of the divine wisdom and solar-force, emerging from the brow, in the case of the above-mentioned mound, from the brow of a hill.
A book said to have been written by Votan (Quetzalcoatl), in the language of the Quiches and thought to have been in the possession of Nunez de la Vega, the Bishop of Chiapas, has some revealing elements – so revealing that the Bishop tried to burn it. Votan says he left Valum Chivim (chivim is a Hebrew word, meaning "sons of the female serpent" (or Eve) and may imply a greater knowledge of this journey from a Judaic perspective) and came to the New World to apportion land among seven families who came with him and were said to be culebra or of serpent origin. Passing the "land of thirteen snakes" he arrived in Valum Votan, founding the city of Nachan (City of Snakes), thought to be Palenque, possibly around 15 BC or even earlier. Votan is said to have made four trips to the east and even to have visited Solomon.
Interesting to Serpent Mounds however is the description of a subterranean passage, which is said to terminate at the root of "heaven." This was called a "snake's hole" and Votan was only allowed in because he was the son of a snake. Surely this can only mean that Votan was an initiate in the serpent cult and that there was a ritualised Serpent Mound or pyramid which led to snake heaven or Patala.
The Fenian heroes of ancient Ireland are recorded orally in song and one of them, Fionn, was their 'dragon slayer.' One of the legends tells us that:

Indeed this is not a "one off," In the Zend Avesta one of the heroes takes a rest on what he thinks is a bank – only to find out that it was a green snake. Iphicrates related that in Mauritania "there were dragons of such extent that grass grew up on their backs." Thus showing the highly likely chance that tales of massive dragons in far-off lands could easily be Serpent Mounds. Again, the Egg becomes important in these mounds as a symbol of 'new life.'
Other instances of Serpent Mounds are found mentioned by Strabo (Lib xv. P.1022) where two dragons are said to have resided in the mountains of India, one eighty cubits long and the other one hundred and forty.
Posidonius also tells of one in Syria, which was so large that horse riders on either side could not see each other. Each 'scale' was as big as a shield, so that a man "might ride into his mouth." Bryant concurs with the belief that these must be ruins of Ophite (serpent worshippers) temples. In Syria these were equated with Hivites (also serpent worshippers and linked with the root hivvah which gives us Eve or "female serpent") and India with the Naga serpent deities. And what were these Temples used for?
In ancient Egyptian papyri and in the Mesoamerican, codex borgia there are instances of the King entering the serpent and going through it in-order to be resurrected. This is much like those we find in the myth of Osiris, whereby he enters the tale of the snake and emerges from the mouth, reborn.

Some say the fiery dragon will be a comet. What if this is actually a naturally occurring phenomena or alternatively the result of a new scientific breakthrough ??

I am curious the American Indian legends mention "replilian" beings are they meant to be like some of the characters mentioned in various other mythologies around the world ??? Or like the other myths I mentioned a few comments ago????

For many centuries the Dogons from Mali West Africa claimed to be the descendants of people from Sirius, which they knew to be a triple star system. The Dogons are believed to have come from Egypt, they carry with them astronomical legends about Sirius, which is 8.6 light years from earth. The Dogon claim that approximately 5,000 years ago the Nommos, AMPHIBIOUS GODS sent from Sirius to benefit mankind, passed on their astronomical knowledge to them.
Nommo means "Masters of the Water", "Monitors", "Saviors", and they are seen as spiritual guardians who divided their bodies among men to feed them. Similar aquatic creatures have been noted in other civilizations: the Oannes of the Babylonians (man-fish), Enki of Sumer, Fuxi (China), Dagon (Philistine), Nereus (Greece), and Ea of Acadia, to name a few. It is also interesting to note the motifs common to the story of Nommo with the story of Osiris (dismemberment and the erection of temples at the final resting places of their respective body parts). Nommos have been described as hermaphroditic, fish-like creatures, who could live on land but dwelled mostly in the sea, like menfolk(mermaids and merment). There are references in the oral traditions, drawings and cuneiform tablets of the Dogons, to human looking beings who have feet but who are portrayed as having a large fish skin running down their bodies.
It was only recently, in 19th century, astronomers discovered that Sirius had a double star we call Sirius A & B. The Dogons believe there is a third star which they call "emma ya", or the "sun of women". They have described it as having a circle of reddish rays around it, and this circle of rays is 'like a spot spreading' but remaining the same. The mystery is, how did they know? The Dogons believe the Nommos awful-looking beings descended from the sky in a vessel accompanied by fire and thunder. After arriving, the Nommos created a reservoir of water and subsequently dove into the water. The Dogon legends state that the Nommos required a watery environment in which to live. According to the myth related to Griaule and Dieterlen: "The Nommo divided his body among men to feed them; that is why it is also said that as the universe "had drunk of his body," the Nommo also made men drink. He gave all his life principles to human beings." The Nommo was crucified on a tree, but was resurrected and returned to his home world. Dogon legend has it that he will return in the future to revisit the Earth in a human form. Later he will assume his amphibious form and will rule the world from the waters.

Blue Star/Sirius/Islam/Allah

I think it's likely that Comet Holmes is "blue star Kachina".

After all, it's blue (when you look at the photos of it) and it's as big as a star (bigger than the sun, actually).

That would fit with everything else we can see about the System that is collapsing now.

"Snake Holes" = Wormholes of today's vocabulary.

Hopi said Blue Star is Sirius and Allah is Lord of Sirius.

It is definitely dancing on the plaza's, in major cities of the world, it is removing its mask for all the world to see. A bitter truth revealed in the Qur'an that the Lord of Sirius destroyed the ancient people. See earlier link provided in previous post.

Comet 8P/Tuttle is blue and tomorrow we pass through it's "dust" creating a meteor shower. It will be much bigger than ever before.
