FLAT EARTH BELIEVER CHALLENGE

I challenge the flat earthers to a real live flight test over the pacific ocean

two jets, first jet flies by standard FAA navigation rules of traveling over a sphere, the jet is to make (3) 1,000 nautical mile legs and form an equilateral triangle on a map

both jets will employ "dead reckoning" and no GPS no radio beacon/VOR or any other electronics

the second jet will be reserved only for flat earthers

that will navigate an equilateral triangle on an assumed flat plate

both jets only have enough fuel to make it back to point of origin which can be Hilo Hawaii

the challenge is this, if you are so confident that flat earth is "reality" then put your life on the line and go navigate a jet over the ocean based on your beliefs not physical reality

now what will happen is the first jet will have to correct heading because the surface of the ocean is curved

the second flat earth jet will do precise 60 degree turns based on the belief the earth is flat

of course by the end of third leg the first jet will safely land as it is being navigated by spherical reality

and the second jet, with only flat earthers, will not make it back to point of origin because the earth is not flat, will run out of fuel and have to ditch in the ocean as it will be off course and no where near the point of origin
