| Doctor Manhattan User ID: 72669858 United States10/16/2020 07:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | FLAT EARTH BELIEVER CHALLENGE Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77998499 I challenge the flat earthers to a real live flight test over the pacific ocean two jets, first jet flies by standard FAA navigation rules of traveling over a sphere, the jet is to make (3) 1,000 nautical mile legs and form an equilateral triangle on a map both jets will employ "dead reckoning" and no GPS no radio beacon/VOR or any other electronics the second jet will be reserved only for flat earthers that will navigate an equilateral triangle on an assumed flat plate both jets only have enough fuel to make it back to point of origin which can be Hilo Hawaii the challenge is this, if you are so confident that flat earth is "reality" then put your life on the line and go navigate a jet over the ocean based on your beliefs not physical reality now what will happen is the first jet will have to correct heading because the surface of the ocean is curved the second flat earth jet will do precise 60 degree turns based on the belief the earth is flat of course by the end of third leg the first jet will safely land as it is being navigated by spherical reality and the second jet, with only flat earthers, will not make it back to point of origin because the earth is not flat, will run out of fuel and have to ditch in the ocean as it will be off course and no where near the point of origin Its sad watching people argue inside the mass eco-chamber THE POWERS THAT BE have enslaved the masses in, you... ignorance is bliss till truth hits it head on which is why globe believers get triggered so hard, its the main lie lived...you like living a lie? Consider this... From an overview perspective. I think the guy ACTIVELY dislikes FLAT EARTH and FLAT EARTHERS. OK... LOL, A LITTLE extreme. He wants to get rid of a PLANE LOAD (Go big or go home) of FLAT EARTHers... Maybe his version of some kind of DARWINian AWARDS? An AIRFRAME that has a 3000 mile range is pretty heady territory, right? Who in their RIGHT MIND would want to LOSE an AIRFRAME? I LIKE airplanes... as in... A LOT! Airplanes with 3000 mile range... Oh yeah! I'm guessing its a COMMERCIAL JET. Those come with a FLIGHT CREW! Older models means 3 folks. Pilot, co-pilot, and navigator. Newer models tends to be 2 folks. Pilot and co-pilot. The navigator has been absorbed by flight control advances, etc. The ENTIRE premise is SO bizarre. Pretty much EVERYTHING that flys these days USES INS SYSTEMS. So, I'm NOT EXACTLY sure how a plane is SUPPOSED to get lost. The overfocus on irrelevant details... The REALLY ironic part is... HIS SCENARIO would have ZERO effect on the result...
