Refer to Dr. David R. Hawkins' scale of consciousness. "Reason" places quite low on the ladder to higher consciousness. We are in the trouble we are right because we have to have a REASON for everything.
Consider stepping up the ladder to unconditional love. Anywhere between reason and unconditional love would serve you greatly.
This is also supported in Caroline Myss' book Entering the Castle (her audio is BEST).
If you want to evolve, perhaps step away from old world reasons.

The whole process requires the ability to reason... People do not really learn to connect until they have developed a level of reason.. for they cannot carry out that which is suggested if they cannot reason and if they cannot reason they don't know what to ask for.
