Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75932156 Recover data from the drives? Why were they in a state to require recovery in the first place? Maybe the motherboard got smoked? Updates sometimes can also fk things up. If the macbook wouldn't boot anymore, then you can't really access the data if you have no backup... unless you recover it from the hard drive
