Pricing is actually good, it’s a silent but coordinated effort amongst sellers to jack prices up. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79358704 They charge high fees but what can you do. Did you quit because the math wasn't working out for it to be profitable enough anymore? |

I would hit yard sales and buy boxes and boxes of books for $5 - $10 for the lot. Make several hundred on them. Too much competition started to drive prices down, also, the damn penny sellers that scalp shipping profits. darylandcat.com |

I hate the company but he takes in around a million a year. After advertising(promoted listing scam that they force upon you) it's about half a mil in profits; not too shabby but we are all peasants compared to Premier Bozos |

But I always just chalked it up as a fluke if you got successful. Not sure what to believe. I see stuff that suggests it's not a good time to try it anymore. Whereas I see stuff that suggests now is the time to set up shop there. I just don't know what to believe. Do you have to buy inventory? Is it like shopify dropshipping where you get products from suppliers like Aliexpress and they mail them for you? |

Doesn't that ultimately make it a wash though? Amazon fees eat up profit. Facebook ads eat up profit so it comes out as a wash as to the viability of both? |

KiraBess User ID: 77220607 Canada 12/27/2020 01:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, Amazon charges fees, but still, it is worth selling there. I choose to pay a monthly fixed fee to reduce my other fees or pay full fees on all sales. Also, I work with the FBA Prep Center [link to thefbaprep.com (secure)] . Its goal is to help sellers to meet all Amazon standards. They do inspecting, packing, labeling, and shipping according to Amazon requirements, so I don't need to worry about that. I know that there is a big competition, but I've recently read on a man's post who feels guilty that he became much richer selling on Amazon due to the quarantine. And there is no need to notice that many people face issues with the job. |
