Very few people live in dense forests or in the Cascade Mountains. Where people actually live in Oregon, it’s overwhelmingly blue.

Bend is now full-on blue. I work in the construction field... there are so many regulations on permits at City Hall it would blow your mind.

For instance, a gasoline price sign (Chevron, Texaco, etc.) CANNOT have a white face. The face must be fully colored. Now this may not seem like a big deal to most folks, but it's a HUGE restriction. The City is dictating the color scheme of a business' sign.

That is simply one small example of a much bigger problem. Have you been to Bend lately? It's not the Bend you remember from 1986 skiing at Bachelor.
