You are talking God's progeny. the medicine might be more volatile then the cure, you know.  .
Who would El prefer this to be then their own progeny?
He hopes to cultivate somebody who surpassed himself in every respect.
But of course, El won't hand the throne over willingly. It still needs to be won.
Its just to say, understand this is still part of the script. All is as it was foreseen to be.
The question is what will be done in the aftermath
Either the world stays the same as El had it, because its new ruler is overwhelmed by the crown
Or there is for the first time, a world there has never been before. A paradise, a nightmare.
It remains to be seen.
