Dream Interpretation - "The Seas Are Coming"...would appreciate those who understand intepretation of prophetic dreams

last night, I dreamed of my eldest daughter and myself walking along a neighborhood, and as we would look into the trees, we would see creeks that had turned into flooded giant rivers, violent and whitewatered. We looked, not in awe, but knowingly, like it was something that simply had to happen. It is the coming of a higher conciousness, and our own higher spirit. Sorry, Im not a Christian, but feel this could apply. Only you can interpret your own dreams best, imo.

Thankyou: I also thought exactly this, as whenever I remember her words 'The Seas are Coming', I see roaring seas...like many seas all joined forces with one another.

For someone who isnt a Christian, you speak in prophetic picture language, perhaps the Lord will use this one day soon.

violent global climactic change may well be a part of that, but not exclusivly so....

her face came very close to mine, and as she looked at me....here's the key!!! her face came very close to mine - look within, there is something about HER that reminds you of YOURSELF. The dream was NOT about what this woman said, it's about what's within you that you KNOW....the SEa's could very well be "C"s as last poster said

Hmmn, no, definately 'seas', my friend in the dream actually spelt out 's e a s'..I remember that part especially, it was like she wanted me to know that she meant water.

The reason it was so profound, was it was like someone coming up to your ear, yet speaking in a 'whisper', there was an urgency in her voice to tell me of this.

If so, she might be the bearer of this message so that you will take it seriously. I've got 2 different friends that this has happened to. Some of these dreams have already come true.

What elevation above sea level do you reside? What part of the world do you live?

The sea usually signifies the world's population from a political standpoint. In Daniel, we are provided a picture of political upheaval in the form of a raging sea for example.

I would think along the lines of the sea being a large number of people. Therefore, "A large number of people are coming..."

Maybe you'll know what this means to you, I don't.

The melting of ice caps is a *relativelly* slow process.
There will be destructive tidal waves with other causes: celestial body impact, volcanic, sysmic.

Hmmmn, 'there is something about HER that reminds you of YOURSELF'...I'll ponder on that. I've 'known' her for quite some time, over the years, only meeting on family gatherings (my husband's side)..we went to a wedding recently, and I discovered that her and her husband were Pastors/Missionaries, I was amazed. Most of my husband's side, if not all, are non believers, but wonderful people.
I really valued discovering their being christians, it was encouraging for me, I remember her saying 'I've seen all you husband has gone through as a child and into teens/adult etc'. When she said this, as strange as this may sound, I sensed the Lord saying to me, "Yes, I have had people pray for him, before you even met..these people are ones I specifically placed into your in laws pathways, I place My people amongst those who are yet to know Me, over time, My people see My plans, that I was always there, as a preparation for times ahead'.

I would suspect that since this was a missionary who addressed you,,that there is some religious significance to this dream...all I can think of is Luke 21:25 when our Lord said men's hearts would begin to fail for what is coming on the earth....the sea and the waves roaring would be what causes the nations to be in distress, with perplexity (meaning,,,no way out)..............
He is coming soon,,,,,,,,,in Luke 21 He said when we begin to see these things to "look up,,,,,(not within),,,for your redemption draws nigh...."
Let us hope He is soon to come for us........

Well now, theres a stirring you've placed in my mind...we are actually surrounded by water, and we are very close to the Antartic...Tasmania, Australia.

Well Jonah, as for this comment, heres the thing, as we all gathered for the ceremony, I 'noticed' her being in the midst of all the family, her face looked 'different' to me than at previous gatherings. I found this rather strange, my thoughts being, "Ive seen you many times, yet this time, your face is like a light to me". Her hair colour was 'lighter', I thought, at the time, this 'may' be the reason I sensed 'light'.

I remember, when we spoke (most of the same guests are present at family gatherings, and of course, over the years, we look different as we begin to 'age'..lol, hope that was tactful), as I looked at her, this time, I thought, her eyes are so full of peace...it was later on through the night I discoverd (hearing her husband speaking), that he was back from a missionary journey in Paupua New Guinea.

There are some obvious Biblical verses that come to mind.

seems like you had an angelic contact. you know they come in human form, preferably taking on a like form that you can trust. this was a warning of some sort. sounds like an invasion from another world. could be God, could be Satan i dont know. but be on the lookout is what the angel is saying.

I hear your heart in this, I must also admit, back in 2005 (was that the year of the Boxing Day Tsunami, I get the years mixed up, 2004/05) I had another very profound dream (approx July) of a Tsunami, a wall of water, heading for us, and again, we had (in the dream) family visitors all in our lounge dining area. We lived (in reality) in a double story home, with a panoramic view of the ocean in our front windows, almost a 360 degree view, we lived in a beach area, up very high, yet, the oceans height of the wall of water, heading toward us, was as high as the heights we lived upon. It was just terrifying. I also was so profoundly affected by this, I emailed an Australian Seismologist, who, in return email, said "Oh your the 7th person to email me such a dream in the past week".

At the time of that dream, I never quite connected some important dots, that in fact, the family gathering, in our loungeroom, there was Christmas decorations, and that tragic Tsunami event happened at Christmas time that same year.

I told 'some' close friends at the time of the dream, they just laughed at me, said it was just a dream, relax, forget it.

Now I dream often, and I get 'picture impressions/open visions' of mainly 'future' world events/disasters (usually geographically overseas, for some reason, the Asian/Middle East/USA regions, dont know why there specifically), since that time, I've come to 'recognise' the difference of 'just a dream' v., a warning/prophetic dream.

The prophetic ones are ones that I can't shake of in my thoughts, and are 'very very real'; meaning, I remember the prophetic ones 'in fuller colour and detail'.

It's interesting that you mention the Deyos. God led me to the same community that He led the Deyos to from Australia.

I didn't know their story until after I got here.

I had a dream that I was around people of differant nationality and I was looking at this hill and this big wave came and I was afraid that a I was gonna drown and when the wave hit I stayed afloat. 8 months later the tsunami hit.

I had a dream about a year and a half ago about seeing 2 suns in the sky and one exploded, maybe a connection with this comet, if it is there will be deaths from it.

This is what the Lord said to me: its the breaking of the waters, (perhaps a cataclysmic world event) meaning, the affect would generate many running into church for answers/comfort, from the fear of the intensity of the event, that this world event would cause a Revival in His house.

Late last year (around October/November), I remember saying to a friend "Next year, a disaster will come upon the world, one, that has never been seen or experienced before'. I wonder? All of this year 'November' comes to my mind when I remember those words.

Also I hear 'the sleeping volcano, one that is thought to be silent forever, domant' will awaken????

I should add that I was previously at 300 ft and I'm now close to 5000 ft. I don't know if that will prove to be significant.
