I typically log in around 8:30 AM, check my email, go take a shower, prepare a nice breakfast and settle back into work with my cup of coffee (all on the clock). I get paid about $60k/year which is enough for me as a single guy with no children (gf would have it another way if she could but I'm not stoopid). What's the stop my company from outsourcing my job to a d0thead in India at a fraction of my salary? The training would be the hardest part as I do a lot of different task and I'm actually quite good at it..but with the right training, anyone with an IQ around 100 can do what I do. Exactly and its going to happen Yep Like I said, as long as capitalists are in control, this nation is doomed. If someone in India can do your job cheaper, you are overpaid. This is what is going to happen. Someone prove me wrong. I expect this country to descend further until it rivals India and or countries in Central America. The people in the stock market demand no less and want a huge return on their global investments. We have coprotocracy where the top tier is paid to make money wth no regard to the local economy. Read about Henry Ford, that is the type of capitalism that built the U.S. He innovated ways to use products farmers grew so they could in turn make enough money to buy his products (using soy beans to make dashboards.) I don’t know what you prefer over capitalism but if you visit a communist or recently communist country you will not want that.
