I've been working the front lines of this virus since March. I take care of patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. I have seen patients who have had mild cases with no long-term issues and mostly asymptomatic. I have seen those with moderate cases who did not need hospitalization but spent 2 to 3 months recovering. Those folks end up having issues with their blood sugar, heart rate, and blood pressure. Those who ended up needing hospitalization are still dealing with chronic fatigue along with decreasing renal and pulmonary functions.

You can argue that the virus isn't that deadly, but it has decreased the quality of life for many individuals. There are other issues but that is the synopsis from 'my experience' unlike those folks in front of the White House.
