Not necessarily and easily not at all. Unless that Third Party candidate, however, was a staunch, no-nonsense sociopolitical conservative (the type who's uncommon in the world of American third parties), he or she likely would turn out being a warmed-over, corruption-enabling, business-as-usual liberal.

Nonetheless, I am aware of Mexico's current far-left president supposedly - supposedly - trying the upend the swamp of Mexico's Barack-Hillary-Biden liberalism. But he easily probably will end up as all bark and no bite. But if he somehow manages to not be a business-as-usual leftist and doesn't do to Mexico what Nicolas Maduro has done to Venezuela, more power to him.
