They will charge the price of competence, then.... DO A SHITTY JOB. It doesn't matter what the job or service is, they are going to fuck it up. They will oversell it with the APPEARANCE of competence, take the money, and the quality of the work or service they perform will suck ass. That is why im having to do more, and more, and more, and more, and more - MYSELF. I hired a "reputable" company to do some work on my roof and flashing around my chimney. They sent 1 50yo guy and 1 70yo guy to do the estimate, AND THEY SAID THEY would do the work. Day comes to do the work, the two guys that got out of the van looked like they were 17. I said they are going to fuck this job up, I knew it in my gut and I should have turned them away, I went against my gut and they fucked up the job. The seal they put leaks like a sieve not I got to stand in my driveway with these people tomorrow and have a screaming match to get them up on the roof to fix their fuck up. And now ill have a shot and beer.

They will charge the price of competence, then.... Yep. I've had this discussion with lots of people while building a house. No one communicated or coordinated the project, what a mess. And exactly the same, they sent the kids without oversight. Also noticed that there are no apprentices anymore. Back in the day the young kids learned from the skilled craftsmen by working along side of them. No longer. So now we have a full generation of people with no skills. And these kids can't learn those skills in school. Or at shitty fast food jobs. So yes, now we have a void in competence. Everything, quality is down in everything now. Not only from depleting our resources, but from a failing economy. Dominoes.

They will charge the price of competence, then.... my fee for labor is equal to materials cost.anything over that is company profit and greed. a sheet of plywood floor grade is fifty bucks.my bill for all of it is 100 bux.if i own a storefront then its 150bux. ill install that one sheet of plywood in a used house for that rate. that is the bottom line.in a union state,its total cost is 300bux.
