Print and television news has been declining for years. If you're planning on entering a field that's been laying off workers since 2015, were you seriously anticipating a sweetheart offer the day you graduate? This reminds me of the days of occupy wall street- our local mini-version was squatting in a park, seeking attention from the media. When one was interviewed, he bemoaned the terrible job market and how much student debt he faced. What was his major? Wait for it... "Medieval literature". I'm not paranoid...am I? |
