Anyone want to chime in? What about credit card offers with return envelopes? [ link to www.heraldtribune.com (secure)] Florida’s infamous humidity is causing problems for some people who want to vote by mail in Sarasota and Manatee counties. The return envelopes for the ballots, which must be sealed and signed, are arriving in some mailboxes already glued shut. That’s because Florida’s persistent damp climate can sometimes cause the adhesive on the envelope flaps to moisten enough to seal it shut. The issue has also surfaced in Leon, Polk, Seminole and other counties across the state this election cycle. It previously happened to some voters in Broward County during the August primary.
