México Mint stopped selling gold coins !

As we have reported in this space, in Mexico "there is no more gold." The Mint (CMM), which administratively depends on the Ministry of Finance, but whose merchandise is obtained mainly from Banxico, says it has no stocks and therefore will not sell gold coins "until 2021 ".

The question is: do neither Banxico nor CMM really have these coins or do they not want to sell them at the current low price ? Would they prefer to mint medals that are sold at a premium compared to their metallic value and that are not an option to invest?
