voting in person with a paper ballot is really the closest thing you can do to get your vote counted, and even that can get destroyed and the count manipulated

This happened to a friend in Oklahoma four years ago. At least he monitored their website and recognized the problem. I'm sure there are many who think they are finished as soon as the mail goes out. In his case, he was able to go in person and fill out a provisional ballot.
