Greenwald is one of the few anti-establishment anti-war left wing reporters remaining in MSM. Up until a few years ago, he was on Fox and also MSNBC regularly, that's a very rare thing.

He writes just like those poli sci graduate students looking to build careers peddling rumors as government contractors. I’m not sure how he founded his own news site.

He was one of the first scoops on some of the Assange and Snowden stuff.

The Intercept is not a major news site.

Even smaller and less relevant without Greenwald.
