Damn... They don't make 'em like Fisky anymore, his book The Great War for Civilisation blew me away, it's THE book to read if you want to understand the Middle East, Osama bin Laden didn't want to talk to any other journalist knowing that Fisk would write it as it is and in that book you can read the incredible story of how that happened....

He was planning to return to Beirut, where he lived for over 40 years soon....
