No, I do not think Trump was pulling a political stunt.

He had been taking the hydroxychloroquine for a number of days or weeks, which does actually make a difference for the better when exposed to such a virus as Covid 19 virus.

You could see on video those who were appearing to have it and then find out soon after they were in quarantine with it.
