No ICU beds in Tulsa

I was aware in Indiana this is the case, will try to find out about Oklahoma.

Indiana is a big state. A couple nursing friends indicated, ft.wayne was getting hit hard. Indy,(at least at her hospital) not so much.

Covid icu bed numbers are guessed or a allocations of the number of cv beds needed. If they pick 3 and use 2 they are 2/3 capacity.
3 icu beds out of 50 icu beds mean the other 47 could be used but for Reporting purposes the three colored bad number is quite the media loves to portray. The numbers don’t mean shit! Where are the flu deaths for this time of year reported? They must be kept in the million software LOL

Wait until we get further into flu season. A few of the blue names will go full-throttle fear mongering again, like they did back in March.

I talked about this yesterday. There are beds. We don't have the staff. It has very little to do with COVID. There ICUs holding in ER, but they're not COVIDs. We've got typical shit, but we're just being overrun with the normal seasonal crap and lots of delayed treatments for other problems like hearts and other procedures that have been allowed to fest under the COVID bullshit.


Our biggest issue is a lack of staff, period!

That would be yours truly. I'm currently flickin' my boogers and working PT as an electricin. I left a major metro hospital of my own bullshit and mouth and got hired in urgent care that is currently temporarily closed because one of the mid-levels got COVID and quit. Of course, she, nor any of her family developed symptoms. She just got a + test.

My wife is frontline in ICU.

OK! I need to clarify somethings.

Foremost, COVID is real. It's not bullshit. It's not fake. It can make even some healthy folk very sick. However, it is, in the opinion of my wife, myself, our friends who are nurses and docs being way overblown!

Our number one issue in Tulsa Metro hospitals at the moment is a lack of staffing! Repeat, our number one issue. Our second issue. The backlash from the 'Vid lockdown. We had patients who need MVRs, bypasses, and shit ton of other procedures who were not able to get them when the hospitals suspended so-called 'elective' procedures.

If I were making a list of problems causing our ICU bed shortages COVID would six or seven on that list.

It's a lie. A friend that is a nurse was telling me they shut down parts of a hospital then say they are full. They aren't being overrun by covid patients.

It's really simple:

Too many chiefs, not enough braves.

Complete lie. Don't believe any of it. There are plenty of ICU beds available in Tulsa and a few hospitals have laid off workers that are idle. It's all trying to make you scared so you'll submit to their authority. Resist in every way you can, don't comply with any orders, masks are for pussies.

This is true. Family friend is area covid Doc at one of the main hospitals. Staff is out and other health issues. Not all covid related which is why we haven’t rolled back to a prior opening plan.

Oh yeah. It's the same here. Now, I will say this. The non-critical COVIDs are starting to swell. Symptomatic, requiring hospitalization, but not 'critical' or lif threatening.

Must be a spike in getting back to normal like people having surgeries. You know normal shit like that.
