I think they likely are going to secure vaccines for distribution but I would imagine that it wouldn't require such a huge operation storage facility that would be nuts.

But maybe? Moderna said theirs can be held in storage for 30 days stable.

Highly probable scenario as many companies are struggling to keep their doors open during the pandemic. They could be the suppliers of the restaurant industry as well as groceries but without the supply demands of the restaurant industry they are unable to pay their bills nor meet payroll demands.

This type of sudden shutdown is usually required during bankruptcy filings or going out of business period. But of course we don’t know because you will not give the name and instead choose to spread doom and gloom without any verification, fake news is born in this manner

One reefer truck can store millions of doses at that temperature for months or even years as long as you keep it fueled. No need for powerful deep freezers as reefers are everywhere and many empty

That was my first thought when I saw the thread title.

Seems excessive though considering it's not even shipping yet and will be months before they need a large network to distribute it.

Finally. I can answer questions because I work at the place he is talking about and I can confirm all systems went down yesterday at 1600. I haven't talked to anyone today yet.

All we would have to do is call Americold and try to set an appt. I bet its got alot to do with vaccine storage and why let a crisis go to waste? If those orders cant be delivered and picked up, that's going to be catastrophic.
